Eleanor leads global communications for the Vaccines and Specialty Care businesses at Sanofi, an innovative global healthcare company with one purpose: to chase the miracles of science to improve people’s lives.
A British and Canadian national, she obtained a BSc in immunology from the University of Glasgow, UK, and a PhD in molecular oncology from the University of Edinburgh, UK, before pursuing post-doctoral studies in neuroscience at McGill University in Montréal, Canada.
Over a 20+ year career in corporate affairs, Eleanor has worked for many of the top global biopharmaceutical companies across diverse disease areas, including oncology, immunology and inflammation, vaccines, rare diseases, HIV, and neuroscience.
Passionate about science, strategy, performance, and patients, Eleanor enjoys exploring how the strategic alignment of science/medicine with non-traditional partnerships, including innovative sponsorships, marketing campaigns, and digital activations, can enhance visibility, engagement, and – ultimately – better patient outcomes.
